    Want to Change Laptop RAM

    I have 2 sticks of laptop RAM, two of 512 mb. I want to update my RAM. what should i do one 1GB RAM and another 500MB or two 1 GB RAM for my laptop.

    I will suggest you go for 1 GB 2 sticks.
    For precautions make sure the power is off and the battery is out also unplugged from any power source. make sure you are free of any electrical static (from say carpet or etc.) and just take out the old and in with the new. Should be as simple as that unless otherwise stated on the product box.

    RAM with good speed wont help you, instead it is the amount of memory that will help your system to work in a better and splendid manner. But one more thing to be borne is that you cant just increases the memory as much as you want.
