What would be the future of 775 socket ?

Everything is in the title of my post. With the release of nehalem, is what will allow Intel socket 775 die a peaceful death, after the release of this wonderful E8600 processor that is or is it that there will still Processor which come in 775 ?

The Processors are announced for the 3rd quarter of 2009 if I remember correctly, so counting the possible delays and the actual arrival on the market, it gives at least 2nd half 2009
