| Compatibility: Asus P5Q Pro and Corsair PC8500
the problem is with this config my computer starts but the screen is black. I turned my RAM and I put a strip of PC6400 and there it works (I have access to the bios). I understand it, the CM is normally compatible with the PC 8500. is there someone who understands ? |

The P5Q Pro is actually compatible with the PC8500 . Have you tried with only one strip of your Corsair PC8500? (One of your two strips may be defective, I had the same problem with my old Corsair PC8500) Have you overclocked your memory? Note that if one of your two strips is defective than you must send it for service |

Try to save at vDIMM 2v, then change strips. |

I have updated the bios and the ram does not work, I even tried every port one by one |

Have you tried each of the strips separately? |
