"AMD to enter the Japanese market the cpu Sempron X2 2300, dual core economic clock frequency of 2.3 GHz"
Thanks to the information published by AMD offiicial site, we discover the existence of a new version of the AMD Sempron processor features dual core architecture. This is the model Sempron X2 2300, with a clock frequency of 2.2 GHz and the presence of L2 cache for a total of 512 Kbytes, and then divided into two blocks of 256 Kbytes for each core.
This processor is supported, in the family of AMD cpu for desktop systems, Sempron X2 to the model presented by AMD in 2100 during the past year, with the same specifications but with a clock frequency equal to 1800 MHz For both processors are the product technology at 65 nanometers, for a maximum TDP of up to 65 watts. The indicated price is equal to 2480 yen, equivalent to the current exchange rate at around 21 euros.
These two processors are not currently present in the official price lists of AMD, which is available online. The only cpu family Sempron proposals are the following two models, both with single core architecture, a sign that the solutions Sempron X2 may be used only for marketing in certain markets and not on a global scale:
Sempron LE-1300: 2.3 GHz clock, TDP 45 WEatt; L2 cache of 512 Kbytes, HT bus from 1.600 MHz clock; Socket AM2 interface. Cost $ 36 U.S..
Sempron LE-1250: 2.2 GHz clock, TDP 45 WEatt; L2 cache of 512 Kbytes, HT bus from 1.600 MHz clock; Socket AM2 interface. Cost $ 30 U.S..
