Config I7 or Core 2 Duo

I will soon be changed config, and I hesitate between a one of a base config I7 or config Core 2 Duo.

Use: Games, Multimedia, Photos, Office, Video Encoding.

    Config I7

    Case: Antec Sonata3
    Motherboard: Gigabyte DS4
    Processor: Intel Core I7 920
Graphics card: Gainward HD4850 GS 512MB
Hard Drive: Western Digital 640GB (Caviar Blue)
    Ram: OCZ Platinum DDR 3 (3x1GB) CL7
    Monitor: Samsung T220.

    Config Core 2 Duo

    Case: Antec P182
    Power: Corsair 520HX
    Motherboard: Asus P5Q
    Processor: Intel Core2Duo Q9400
Graphics card: Gainward HD4870 GS 512MB
Hard Drive: Western Digital 640GB (Caviar Blue)
Ram: Gskill PK 2x2 GB PC6400
    Monitor: Samsung T220

So I share on I7, I will be able to change my config in the future, or I share a config on a Core2Duo-based, a little cheaper? Invest in I7 is a good solution? Or I7 has no future?

Small matter with the Sonata 3: PSU is sufficient for config? Is there space for it? Because on the pictures it seems quite small.

To begin with it, should have an idea of your budget limit. Then as far as scalability is, clearly the core i7 to be chosen. The psu of the Sonata 3 is enough but you might run out of place (especially when changing video card).

My budget is max Rs. 65000-71500 with the screen. So it would be better for me to turn into a core I7? And the Sonata 3, the HD4850 fit in your opinion? And level perfs for current games, it is sufficient for a 22"?

I would take the P182 well, but it makes me 6500 and more about, so I exceeded my budget if I opt for config I7.

Actually you stack where the config based core i7 is a bit expensive ...

You can also take a Antec three hundred + corsair vx450W is a bit more expensive than the sonata 3 but you will have more room.
As against the HD4850 is not great for a 22" (well that's my opinion).

Re: Config I7 or Core 2 Duo

With Rs. 65000-71500, it is better to have a config core2Quad

    on the second config:

PSU: try to take at least 600 watt, cooler master M620 (very good value) or more expensive Corsair HX620, would have a psu brand guarantee of reliability and above the power required by your config therefore less noise and a better life (a power supply just enough for his config will heat, make noise and it will shorten its lifetime)
Graphics Card: If you plan to keep a good time, taking the 1 GB version if possible.

    RAM: PC8500 PK
box: If you are looking for silence Sonata Elite P182 or otherwise Cooler Master CM690 or Antec three hundred
