To Slove the problem follow the step which are given bellow:
    1. Check the monitor is switched on and the power indicator LED of the monitor is glowing.
    2. Check the monitor power connection.
    3. Adjust the contrast/brightness knob of the monitor to maximum.
    4. Check whether the monitor is connected properly to the video adapter of the system.
    5. If your system has add-on video adapter, switch off the system and remove the power. Remove the screw holding the card in place and then remove the card from the expansion slot. Reseat the card into the slot, ensuring a firm connection. Replace the screw and reattach the monitor to the system. Now switch on the system and see.
    6. Check whether the CPU, memory are connected properly to the motherboard.

Re: No display but cpu running

    hi,
i think pc is unable to read the boot sector of the hard drive and so is unable to boot the PC. This can point to a faulty CPU, if there are no beeps accompanying the codes then it could be a CPU or mobo problem, I'd be inclined to go for a CPU problem here. Check that the CPU is seated properly. If it is then I think it might be faulty.i hope this will slove the problem.

    hi,
to slove the problem reseat the memory, video card, and CPU in that order since the CPU is more of a pain to reseat - have to redo heat transfer compound, reattach heatsink. Generally one of these reseats will bring you back.
