    Upgrade Problem With Ram

I wanted my system from 2GB to 3GB and was upgraded in the last Order of Kingston 1GB Kit purchased, with exactly the same titles as the Ram, currently in my PC. "1024MB Kingston ValueRAM 667MHz CL5".
Now it is so that the delivered Ram completely different. The module height is much lower and also the arrangement of the chips is quite different. When I built Ram are the only chips on one side. As soon as I install the latch drives the PC is not more highly and I see only the bios startup screen.

    hi,
Could it be that your SD board only takes DDR and not DDR2 SD? also it may be that your board only supports 2 GB!

    Re: Upgrade Problem With Ram

    hi,
What happens if you just get the new Ram in Slot 1 and use the old omit?
As far as differences are concerned, it is possible that the production simply Kingston has changed. In principle, it is the same RAM.
