Good config for i7, need your advice

I will mount a config, it has been about three years that I have not mounted pc for fear of all these new technologies, I seek your advice (what would be better).

In short, for my use: a geek (games, re-encoding video, use of heavy applications and virtualization).

    Here are the components:

    Case: Thermaltake Armor+MX VH8000BWS
Motherboard: ASUS Rampage II Extreme (Intel X58 Express) - ATX
    Processor: Intel Core i7 920
FAN: ASUS Triton 88 [or Zalman CNPS9900 to see ...]
    Ram: Corsair 6GB (3 x 2GB kit) PC12800 TR3X6G1600C8D DDR3
Graphic Card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 295 [a better than 4870X2 (after the test yes no?)]
    HDD: WD VelociRaptor 300GB 10,000 RPM 16MB SATA II - WD3000GLFS
    PSU: Corsair TX750W 750W ATX 12V version 2.2
LCD: Samsung SyncMaster T240 24 inch

Here I would like your feedback, whether someone has the same motherboard that I intend to take, I am willing to help with the config because I admit that the BIOS is a bit too full by the old but I should get out anyway, it's more for the optimization

What I have right now: WD 500GB SATA2, MX518 mouse, keyboard and Steel H-V2 headphones.

    Perfect configuration.

However I believe that the HD4870x2 is more powerful and better than the GTX295.

It is a good config but if I would be in your place I'd have:

Remove the fan and replace the gtx295 with 4870x2 which will be really really good enough but that it will be on your T240 or the other. With the money saved I would take a Swiftech ultima Watercooling Kit.

For case, I replace it for a haf 932 kit to facilitate the water.
Then for the psu I would have gone for more Antec TruePower Quattro 850w.

Thank you, but its not too hot for watercooling ... Secondly ... I will put it later when I want to overclock the processor.

What bothers me is Ati, I had a bad experience ... and all my friends who went to nvidia does not regret that, either perf or for drivers.

In this case, just remove the watercooling kit and you put the fan of your choice (preferably noctua)

Also the rest I told you at the top if you wish.
