BIOS information change after adding 1GB memory

    hello
I just buy an acer one Linpus 8GB.
    I added a 1gb memory card transcend DDR2 SO-DIMM 667 / 5-5-5. 64M
Since I think it takes a long time to shut down.
but I find it curious that with the addition of 1GB of RAM bios indicates more bitter and 1500Go start under settings under system it says more than 2000GB ..
thank you for your info on the subject.

Normal, because the Aspire One does not support more than 1.5gb.

    hi,
Therefore you must add a rather barette 512 to 1024 with 512 already installed automatically in the pc ..
or you can leave the barette 1gb with 512 of the PC it gives 1536mb.

Yes ok, but normally we add a total of 1500 is like the bars are 512 or 1024 it is still 1536
So it will work better with 1024 than 1536

then I'll have to re open and it is easy to find a 512.
    in 667 or 800?
    thank you!!

"So it will work better with 1024 than 1536" ?

It will not work with 1024 better than 1536.

667 if not enough, what I saw that Barrette 2 GB to 800 I installed in my Samsung NC10 card consumes less than 2 GB in 667! approximately 15 mA.
