I'm using a GA-EP45-DS3L which supports a quad core and up to 16GB of RAM.
Although Intel X38 chipset can support upto 8GB RAM, only 64-bit version of Operating System support more than 4GB RAM, i.e. Windows XP Professional/Vista with 64-bit, Windows Server 2003/2003 R2/2008 with 64-bit.

thanks. i know x86 OSs upport only upto 3gb ram.

I dont know which of these can support 8 GB ram. But you can research this for the motherboards available in India in this list.
