Problem after changing Intel Core 2 Duo processor

I changed my processor from Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 @ 2.2 Ghz to Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 @ 3 GHz. I made some tests after a reboot of my computer. PC wizard tells me that I have a frequency of 1607.74 MHz for an initial 3000 Mhz.

On the vista panel statistics, I have a 4.7 per index calculation per second while with the E4500 an index of 5.1. For operations against by dry I am moving from an index of 4.8 to 5.3. I can not find it normal. Is there someone who can just explain me this?

Well I think thing that is setting you behind must be your old processor bios which lets you not to recognize your E8400 .. Just use your older processor and upgrade your BIOS.
