Performance Problem, 3DMark scores 9154

I have a config with cpu 3GHz Dual Core E8400, 8800GTS graphics card, 2GB RAM, motherboard P5K PREMIUM. My worry is that I realized that my score on 3DMark 2006 is very low (9154), CPU score 1439, SM 2.0 score 5020, SM 3.0 score 5046. I had a problem of graphics card 6 months ago and this test made a score close to 12,000 which is normal for this configuration.

I do not know where to begin to identify the problem? Could you help me?

Indeed, it is weak. Especially the CPU score that should turn around 2800 (ideally). Well, it's only a bench after all, should see in games if it is felt ...

You can also try to update the drivers if it has not already been done.

I forgot to say but I put my drivers updated. And how can I check that my cpu works well?

Try some of other tests for your CPU like CPUMark, SuperPi (1MB), Cinebench2 and compare your scores with results in the official topics.

I tried CPUMark and its score was 428. I think the score is normal without OC. But still 428!

Your CPU-mark score is quite normal. But your 3D mark 2006 score is low may be due to drivers. Flash your BIOS and see what happens. Also is DirectX up-to-date, and even 3D Mark or Windows?

I flashed my BIOS with a most recent and my score is slightly below 9000 points on 3DMARK 2006.

I have not yet installed SP3 and not even updated Windows since last 6 months. Same for 3DMark 2006.
