RAM Frequency

I was using a MSI board and a Athlon 3200+ processor with 1 GB DDR 400 Mhz 2.5 CAS (512 MB * 2)

Now , a few days back I added two more sticks of 512 MB each running at the same freq but now I get a freq of 333 MHz. Don't know what to do..
Does it has something to do with the latency value???
The sticker on the new RAM says
Simmtronics 512 MB DDR 400 Mhz Tcl 3

no matter wat the sticker says....go to bios and verify the base speed..

.remember if u try to install rams of diff freq it will aslways wrk at the lower rated one....

also u may run cpuz and verufy speed..if its given as pc-2700 its 333mhz....if its pc 3200 den its 400 mhz...

diff latency will reduce performance and not the memory freq..so its nothing to do with latency..
