Hard Disk Space filling up in Vista

guys....recently switched to Windows Vista Ultimate from HOme Premium ( intel core 2 duo....250 gb hard disk,,,3gb RAM @ 2Ghz)

but the problem is that recently have noticed that the hard disk keeps on filling up itself...
till yesterday it showd 197 gb free and today it shows 194 gb free....

i tried the disk clean up feature...but only 15mb of data was freed !!

DUE TO SYSTEM RESTORE FEATURE
its normal
use tune-up utilies to clean system restore category

turn off system restore if u dont need it or just leave it for OS Drive only and disable hibernation:


To disable hibernation:

Click Start. Type powercfg /hibernate off. Press Ctrl+Shift+Enter.

To enable hibernation:

Click Start. Type powercfg /hibernate on. Press Ctrl+Shift+Enter.

how do i turn off system restore ???

Control Panel\System and Maintenance\System then click on advanced system settings.....u will find the system protection TAB.....turn system restore off from there...
