    Memory on x48 MSI Platinum

    Hello,
    I have 8GB in DD3 on a motherboard msi x48 platinum.
In the BIOS memory is 8GB but has seen its ad as there are only 3go used. How can all of my memory be-used.

    Thank you in advance

may well be that your system does not want your 8GB ...

A 32-bit OS detects only 3.2 GB of RAM! With 64bits you can go to 4 GB and still technically it seems to me that they are capable of detecting 8 GB but I do not even know if it actually detects or not!

4GB does not already operated 8GB then even less ....
If you spend a 64Bit OS, all your RAM will be recognized, but no software, as heavy as it is, can exploit unless No. You are several software graphics, audio / video and architecture and simultaneously and more that you is a processor that follow.

Amd Athlon: A 32-bit OS detects only 3.2 GB of RAM! With 64bits you can go to 4 GB and still technically it seems to me that they are capable of detecting 8 GB but I do not even know if it actually detects or not!
A 64 bit OS can recognize and exploit 128Gb up RAM.

but in the system nothing to see because it is in the BIOS. I have two line a line that tells me that I 8GB visible but the row tells me there are only used 3gb .

and I also have another concern.

Here I have Realtek HD audio kit with a 5.1. When I look at a video or listening to music stored on my DD sound is sent but 5HP and my box so the 5.1 works perfectly but when I look at a video or listening to music on the internet but I only have my 2de HP functioning. Why?

    Thank you in advance

This is normal, or near, but already the latest drivers for your audio chipset.

And then if you started with Vista -> Control Panel -> and audio equipment -> Sound -> select "loudspeaker" -> clik then click Properties tab "advanced statistics" and uncheck the box "Allow the application to take control ecxlusif this device."
When you have put your pilot day you can record this case

(I had the same problem with a kit 2.1).
