Problem of black screen Ignition in asus CM P5KPL-AM

Hi,
I buy a asus CM P5KPL-AM, and I have an Ati X300 graphics card that plugs into PCI-e, a 300W power supply model LC-Prime B300ATX, and a new HDD or do I install Windows XP. When I turn on the PC, I have a black screen, is what you can tell me or come to the problem? please and what can I do to solve the problem?

Try to remove your graphics card to clean and restore, if not trying to put another alignment (from a neighbor) history to see if it just steps away.

ok thank you, I do but it changes nothing! and more beautiful I put it on the GC or the ATI graphics chipset of the motherboard that does not change.
is that the PC would start if the CPU was grilled?

I do not think it is possible that this is your screen that broke or just your DVI / VGA.

my screen works, yesterday I use with my old configuration, and I put on my laptop dc there is no concern in relation to this.

I think it's your motherboard in this case, but to be sure, try another processor or change the memory.

ok thank you for your advice ilyasovich, I thought it was a my food because it was a no name and what was only 300W dc I buy antec Earthwatts EA380, but no change! (So I think I'm going back to the store )

I have with P5KPL-AM experienced about the same problem. First i tried a Celeron D in the motherboard and this worked ok (a bit slow of course) then put in the E7400 and noppes. Has had contact with the supplier (Norrod) which proposed to put in the latest bios version via the celeron processor, flashed the bios , put in the E7400 thereafter and again noppes. The last chance was to switch to other memory, changed from 2G 667 fsb to 2G G35 800 fsb and wahala up and running ok. Hopes this will help you, good to know that the combination P5KPL-AM and E7400 can work.

The mother board supports Intel 45 nm multi-core processors. The Quad Core family also work in it. Now for the display issue you have to check out that the motherboard is receiving proper power supply. First connect the CPU and remove the RAM. Turned it on. If it is not working then there can be problem in the motherboard. I will recommend you to show it to the service center. Because anyhow there must a bip sound at the boot and at least you must see the BIOS menu.
