    Vista uses only 2.8 out of 4GB RAM

    I have 32-bit Vista (Ultimate) and 4GB of RAM. Its Windows displays the "power" in the Task Manager:

    Physical memory (MB)
    Total: 2812
    The cache: 2071
    Clear: 48

    That means Vista, but that of the 4GB only 2.8 uses, or? I have SP1 and in the System Properties will also 4GB, but that is only "cosmetic" ...

    It reads that the video ram (ie on the graphics card), even with the 3.2 gig limitation is expected.

    simplest solution: install 64bit^ ^

    I have 3GB of RAM and a 8800 GTS with 640MB and it shows me even ... so 3068mb to complete the used memory. Something is rotten ...

    Install VISTA 64bit n u'll c full 4gb RAM...m using 4gb RAM with VISTA 64bit...
