Difference between 667 and 800MHz ram

Can anybody explain that difference between 667 and 800MHz in the reports that serves the value. The other is that I do not see that much difference between marks in performance. Is that here in this area there are not many stores that sell corsair memories, buffalo, mushkin, samsung patriot and such brands who never know are there. Many know the only generic brand kingston.

Look the difference is that the 800MHz is faster than the 667, it is the speed of memories.

And as to where to buy near at your place should come to give you a welt at pcpro or go to a vineyard to sell pcfactory products.

As the marks I think it's more for using the architecture and latencies that have, the less the better.

DDR2-xxx indicates the actual clock speed, while PC2-xxxx indicates the theoretical bandwidth (although usually rounded). The bandwidth is calculated by multiplying the clock speed E / S of eight, as the DDR2 (such as DDR) is a 64-bit memory, there are 8 bits in a byte, and 64 is 8 for 8 and finally by 2 (double rate transfer)

There is no difference between DDR architecture designed for various clock frequencies, for example, the PC-5300 (designed to run at 667 MHz) and PC-6400 (designed to run at 800 MHz). The number simply indicates the speed at which the chip is guaranteed for operation.

Relevant factors to consider, frequency and latencies, now the process going well with memories of a different frequency fsb, not like before ... feature developed for DDR2.
