| Slow connection with RealTek PCI Realtek RTL8201N 10/100Mbps
Hi I need help to solve why my conection is so slow. My computer has NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 chipset and Onboard LAN PCI Realtek RTL8201N 10/100Mbps. I have wire 100 mbit connected with a cable. If I put it on auto negotiate it will download in about 1 mbit / sec. If I put it on 10 mbit full duplex it will download in that (10 mbit / sec.). The problem is that I should have 100 mbit and that is what I get if I connect with another computer. It is only 10 mbit FD that gets anything better than download in 1 mbit / sec. Help, please! |

Hi, Install Only WinXP sp2, nothing higher. Install these drivers: http://www.nvidia.com/object/nforce_....26_11.09.html When you install these do not install the NetworkManager. See if that changes the results. |
