Can change in microprocessor, can affect the operating system?

    Hello,

I want to ask, if I wanted to change the micro and reboot need to do some adjustment to the bios, or if the operating system (Windows XP Professional) is going to great and should be formatted, and so on. Or nothing happens, but the system is restarted without further and everything continues to function perfectly, like changing one ADR?

    Thank you.

    Hi,

When you change either a Celeron for a P4, if you had to reformat or if, obviously if you're going to change this processor has to be compatible with your motherboard.

    HI,

I have a celeron 1.2Ghz, and my intention is to put pentium 4 but I am confused that , will p4 will be compactable to my exiting video card. I have never done before and wanted to find will it work.

    A greeting.
