Choosing the right processor

I am building a new PC for myself.
Which combination is good?

ATI Radeon HD 3870 + Q6600
OR
Nvidia GTX 280 + AMD Phenom X4 9850 Black Edition (2.5GHz) processor.

Thanks for the suggestions.
Going with intel Q6600 & nvidia catd combination thereis not much difference in price between nVidia & ATi Card.
& Q6600 is more overclockable what i feel.
Anymore suggestions?
