Hey Darky ! Congrats Man ! That's an AAAAWesome rig !

What's your HSF ? And how many Amps on the +12V line does this fully loaded SLI+6800GTs suck up: do the card specs say anything ? KPPL could use this as a big time ad for PowerSafe !!!

BTW, think I read somewhere that running the vanilla 6800s (?) in SLI produced tearing and color distortion artifacts - apparently due to electrical interference between the cards.

Let me know where you're getting the XP-90 from ? I was looking at TT Pipe 101 sometime back.

Have A Great Time with your Rig !

I just sold my 6600 phone. So cant take pics with it now. but its Sapphire X800XT OEM version.
Anyway I will get somone's camera and post some pics.
I need new cabinet too. The moded cabinet whose pics i posted in case mod thread is not wide and getting cramped.

    Sweet cabinet!
Except maybe the grey plastic mouldings (hate plastic, ruins everything with it's tacky looks).

That other cabinet would really sleek with similarly cut side panels, maybe even better since it doesn't have those tacky plastic mouldings.

you know once you get used to cuting edge stuff its difficult to resist upgrading
I decided I wont buy another graphic card for 2 years when i got 9700np, but bought 5900U and decided no other graphic card for 2 years.
    Couldnt resist and got 9800XT.
Then I again decided surely now i wont upgrade for good 2 years but ended up geting 6800GT.
Then I decided sure now 6800GT gota last me for 2 years. but couldnt resist getting X800XT
This always happens always happens to me.
Since I got my own private PC in 1999 I have gone through 9 processors, 8 motherboard 7 graphic cards and 6 set of RAM , 2 watercooling kits. whopping 9 cabinets. The only thing i was able to resist upgrading was monitor. Used my measly 14" till end of 2002. Then got 17" FLAT CRT.
    Bah I gota stop now..........But I cant

Hm... those losers haven't sent the GTs yet... Booked on Dec 17th. Still not arrived. Out of stock it seems. I got socket 754 machines only. The 939 chips were a little out of budget.

Edit: no point swapping a rad 9800 for a 6600Gt. Performance gained is not worth all the effort! 6800GT/X800XL is another story
