    2gb vs 4gb video card

I am looking to buy a new graphics card and need some assistance from you all people. I checked online and found one GTX 760 video card but was in som confusion whether I should go with the 2gb or 4gb model of the card. If I take the 4gb model of this graphics card then will it be helpful in the future for the games that will release? Or whether I should take the 2gb model video card which will be fine? Thanks

The GTX 760 is not a great video card on which you wont be able to utilize the 2gb fully. So, if you can go with the GTX 770 card then it will benefit you no matter with a slight price rise. I have the same card as well and Skyrim runs at 15 for me. If I calculate any games requiring more than 2gb of Vram in the near future then the GTX 700 series will be considered as 3rd generation old cards and you will still again to invset in a new one.

Re: 2gb vs 4gb video card

No matter the GTX 760 2gb card is better but the extra 2gb on the same card is not useful at all. You might be able to notice simply an increase of only 2-4 frame rates per second, only in some games that needs high graphics memory, but will notice good frame rate processing times also. So, if you are going with this card then its better not to look at the future and therefore a 2gb model card would be more than enough for now.

I agree with the above suggestions given but if you go with a GTX 770 card then it will additionally cost you more than 100 dollars compared to the GTX 760 video card. But note that you can still expect this card to run for atleast 5 years with any game which will come out in the future. Incase you are looking for some other brands then you can also go with the Amd R9 280x graphics card which is not so bad card at all.
