Gtx 690 or HD 7990 graphics card

I am seeking to buy a new graphics card for my current computer system. I was wondering which graphics card will be the best among Radeon HD 7990 and Nvidia Gtx 690? Many people have suggested that GTX comes with good AA settings where else Radeon HD has good AF settings? What are these settings exactly used for and which card is the best that I should go for? Please suggest.

Well, the HD 7990 graphics card is quite costly but it runs faster in most of the applications. Or you can go for a dual GTX 670 card and put it in SLI to get similar performance like Radeon and are also very cheaper in comparision. The only thing that can be noted in the Gtx 690 is the reduced power consumption and nothing much.

The fastest graphics card among the two is obviously Radeon HD 7990. But if you choose another model GTX 780 and put it in SLI then you will get more FPS in game compared to the Radeon video card. Also, as said, the Radeon card is too over priced where else the Gtx 780's price is very less as compared to the cards that are mentioned.

The Radeon HD 7990 video card is also very power hungry, so you will need to buy a decent Power Supply upto 650W and also you will notice a hug increase in your electricity bill. Also, the Gtx 690 is actually 2 GTX 680 sli cards and runs a little slower than the Gtx 780 which is also quiter and doesnt have any overheating problems. So, try to go for the GTX 780 for a better experience.
