Graphic card within 2k

I have an old system. it doesn’t have a discrete graphic card. I want to get a decent graphic card within 2k so that my cousin can play some games on it. I know that I won’t get better fps with low profile graphic card but simply running the game will be enough for my cousins. They are small and they don’t have much idea about all these things, I don’t let them access my system, so was thinking off adding a graphic card in my old system for them. Any suggestion regarding this will be appreciated.

There are some good graphic cards within 2 k but before I suggest you any, can you just post your old system specification so that I can have better idea of it and suggest you accordingly. I need to know it to suggest the best choice.

I have “Zotac GeForce 8400GS 512MB DDR2 NVidia PCI E Graphics Card “ in my old system. As far as I am aware I had bought it for Rs 1900. It might be available at cheaper price today, I don’t see it on online site but you can check out for it in your local store. I had bought it last year and it’s still working fine. Even though it’s not capable of playing latest games, I have played quite good old games on it.

I will suggest you to get “SAPPHIRE HD 5450 1GB 64-bit DDR3 100292DDR3L Radeon PCI Express 2.1 Graphic Card” It is available for Rs 2,069.00/- on most of the online sites. You can buy it from the site selling it cheaper. It comes up with 3 Years Warranty so you don’t have to worry much about it. I think this 1GB card will be your best choice and it is just better compared to the ones mentioned above. I have checked out many cards within your budget but SAPPHIRE HD 5450 1GB appears to be the best of them all.
