Hey guys I have decided to get either GTX680 4GB FTW or GTX670 4GB SC for my system and I wanted to know that which card will be worth?? Which one is better? What are the negative and positive points of both? I just want to have better idea of these cards before getting. Is there anyone who can suggest something on this??

Re: Best between GTX 680 4GB and GTX 670 4GB

I donít think there should be any confusion, EVGA 04G-P4-3687-KR GeForce GTX 680 FTW is obviously better than EVGA 04G-P4-2673-KR GeForce GTX 670 Superclocked.

GTX 680 FTW specs:
Core Clock: 1084MHz
Boost Clock: 1150MHz
CUDA Cores: 1536
Effective Memory Clock: 6008MHz
DirectX: DirectX 11
OpenGL: OpenGL 4.2
HDMI: 1 x HDMI

GTX 670 Superclocked specs:
Core Clock: 967MHz
Boost Clock: 1046MHz
CUDA Cores: 1344
Effective Memory Clock: 6008MHz
DirectX: DirectX 11
OpenGL: OpenGL 4.2
HDMI: 1 x HDMI

Re: Best between GTX 680 4GB and GTX 670 4GB

I have not yet used GTX680 4GB FTW but I have used GTX670 4GB SC and below is what I think regarding the negative and positive points of it:

Positive points:
It is a good card for overclocking
It plays almost all the latest games without any issues in that too full screen
Runs the game at max setting smoothly
One can run the card in sli mode with 3 screens on surround as well
Does not gets overheated and stays cool

Negative points:
The price of the card is quite high
The card is a bit big and heavy

Re: Best between GTX 680 4GB and GTX 670 4GB

As far as the price is concerned I think that GTX670 4GB SC is better than GTX680 4GB FTW. I really donít find GTX680 4GB FTW worth paying $629. It would have been worth if it was being sold for $500 or $550. I have bought GTX670 4GB SC recently and by my experience I think it is the best card I even had. I have been running games like Max Payne 3 with max setting and I get 60 fps easily. It is quite fast and can handle all the latest games without any issues. I really donít have any negative points to say about the card as I have not yet faced any issues with it.

Re: Best between GTX 680 4GB and GTX 670 4GB

GTX680 4GB FTW is worth paying $629, like I have mentioned I have not used GTX670 4GB SC but I have come across no of people complaining about its fan making noise. There were several other issues regarding the driver and the temperature of GTX670 4GB SC. The most common is ďfan making noiseĒ. I had planned to get GTX670 4GB SC but after going through the reviews of it I changed my mind to GTX680 4GB FTW. I have not come across people complaining about its fan and temperature, I have been using it from a month and it is just working great.

Re: Best between GTX 680 4GB and GTX 670 4GB

I totally agree to "MI:4" on that, there is some issue going on with the heatsink fans of GTX670 4GB SC and 2gb as well. If you are not having any issue with the price then I will suggest you to go for GTX680 4GB FTW. It is really a good choice and is worth paying, it has been found to be performing best even when overclocked. If you still have confusion in making your choice then you can go through some user reviews and feedbacks of these cards and find out which one is the best. I am quite sure your search will lead you to GTX680 4GB FTW until you are not concerned with the price of it.
