NVIDIA Quadro 4000 vs NVidia GS8400 card

I am willing to update my system graphic card to any of the latest, I have checked out for the same and have sorted out NVIDIA Quadro 4000 and NVidia GS8400 card to be best of my choice. The problem here is that now I am confused between the same and I don’t know which one to choose. Is there anyone who is using anyone of them and can share their experience or let me know above the advantage and disadvantage of the card between them? Any help regarding this will be appreciated.

I don’t think you should be confused about NVIDIA Quadro 4000 is better than NVidia GS8400, I think that Quadro 4000 is just the best from Nvidia now for their end-users. It is having the certified application support for CAD/CAM, 3D Design along with support for Digital Content Creation software applications. You can will get 5x faster and better performance as it will come up with Scalable Geometry Engine technology and with capability of processing 90 million triangles per second. Sources say that with the latest NVIDIA CUDA parallel processing architecture of NVIDIA Quadro 4000 one can even expect 8x faster performance. For ensuring the accuracy of results it has 64-bit double precision floating point capabilities. It enables capabilities like stereoscopic 3D, scalable visualization as well as 3D high-definition broadcasting. I really think NVIDIA Quadro 4000 will be a better choice for you.

Re: NVIDIA Quadro 4000 vs NVidia GS8400 card

First of all I just wanted to know that how can you have NVIDIA Quadro 4000 and NVidia GS8400 card as your choice? I mean NVIDIA Quadro 4000 is very costly, it is above 60,000 rs where as NVidia GS8400 cost is around 2,5000 rs. I know the price may vary but still there is huge difference between them. If you compare both then it is obvious that NVIDIA Quadro 4000 will win in all aspects. I think that NVidia GS8400 card is best with the features and specification it delivers:

    Specification:
    • Texture Fill Rate (billion/sec)- 3.6
    • Memory Interface Width-64-bit
    • OpenGL-2.1
    • Certified for Windows 7- Yes
    • Supported Technologies- SLI

    Features:
    • NVIDIA unified architecture
    • GigaThread Technology
    • Full Microsoft DirectX 10 Support
    • NVIDIA SLI Technology
    • NVIDIA Lumenex Engine: 16X Anti-aliasing Technology, 128-bit Floating Point High Dynamic-Range (HDR) Lighting
    • NVIDIA Quantum Effects Technology
    • NVIDIA ForceWare Unified Driver Architecture (UDA)
    • OpenGL 2.1 Optimizations and Suppor
    • NVIDIA nView Multi-Display Technology:
