Acer 5720z update video card, current - nVIDIA 8400m

I have Acer 5720z with nVIDIA 8400M GS. The video card died recently and I wish to buy new one.
I've read that there was a problem with the 8400M series and it's hard to find the same.

Which model is suitable for my notebook? I wish to be nVIDIA again but not sure how to check if it's compatible.

I think that the only laptops that can get upgraded are custom made ones like alienware and you can send it in to be upgraded. So you wont be able to upgrade an video card on the Acer 5720z laptop. Also I read that you have a Mobile Intel GL960 Express Chipset with integrated 3D graphics, featuring Intel Graphics Media Accelerator (GMA) X3100 with up to 358 MB video card in your acer laptop?
