NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 TI is the high-end GPUs. The GF110 is the most complex chip, a GPU with up to 3 billion transistors. Within this GF110 I find 512 units and a 384-bit memory controller. The GeForce GTX 580 is the GF110 with all options turned to find. The GeForce GTX 570 graphics card is based on the same GF110, but turned it on over 480 cores and limited to 320-bit memory bus. For the middle has the nVidia GF114 chip, with approximately 1.95 billion transistors a lot less complex (and therefore cheaper to produce) than the GF110. This GF114 contains 384 units and a 256-bit memory controller. That chip is the basis for the GeForce GTX 560 Ti, which map all matters within the chip enabled. The GeForce GTX 560 is based on the same GF114, but with less, namely 336, switched cores

Re: Which is the best NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 TI or AMD Radeon HD 7850

The GeForce GTX 560 Ti accelerate was not an option on the Ti card because all the cores of the GF114 chip is already enabled. The alternative was clear: the GF110 chip, the GTX 580 and GTX 570 further pinching. That is exactly what nVidia has done: the GeForce GTX 560 Ti-448 is based on the GF110, but with 'only' 448 cores enabled. That is less than the GTX 570, which has 480, but clearly more than the normal 384 of the GeForce GTX 560 Ti. In addition, the memory controller on the GTX 560 Ti-448 is like GTX 570 320 bits wide, while the normal GTX 560 Ti to do with 256-bits. In theory, the GTX 560 Ti-448 is considerably faster than the GTX 560 Ti and only a fraction slower than the GTX 570. Actually, GeForce GTX 565 therefore in my opinion a much better . the GTX 560 Ti-448 in price is so right in front of the Radeon HD 7850positioned: you pay on average about 270 euros. Yet it is harmless, to think that the direct confrontation with the AMD card is the only reason why the nVidia GTX 560 Ti-448 has devised. In the corridors I hear that nVidia still has large stocks of chips GF110, who want to lose before the GTX 600-series cards on the market. It is also conceivable that there are (too) much of the band GF110 chips are rolled with too many cores to use it as faulty GTX 570 or GTX 580 to sell. Maybe the GTX 560 Ti-448 is a temporary solution to quickly partially defective chips to come? nVidia's real reason ... I will probably never know.

I like to suggest Radeon HD 7850 , x850 generations of AMD chips are those that offer the best quality / price / performance. With affordable premium positioning, the HD 7850 should be reflected in many machinery manufacturers and assemblers to play without breaking . With no less than 1024 stream processors locked in a graphics chip clocked at 860 MHz, the HD 7850 AMD has appeal on paper. It is equipped with 2 GB of GDDR5 memory (running at 2400 MHz like the HD 7870 ), served by a 256-bit bus. A little less strong than its the Radeon HD 7870, it requires only a power plug PCI-Express 6-pin for proper operation. But for you this will be the best option

Still The video card CD-ROM LAND sent us the MSI N560GTX-448 Twin Frozr III Power Edition. This MSI card uses the famous Twin Frozr III cooler, which recently by the readers of Hardware.Info is voted best GPU cooler 2011. The card is as expected based on the PCB design of the GeForce GTX 570. MSI has chosen its GTX 560 Ti-448 overclocked to deliver light. nVidia video card for this type of standard clock frequencies of 732 MHz for the GPU and 950 MHz for the memory determined. The MSI card works at 750 MHz and 975 MHz respectively, no huge difference, but still.

The N560GTX Twin Frozr III-448 Power Edition I find 1280 MB of GDDR5 memory. The card offers twice DVI and HDMI once. As usual with nVidia cards can simultaneously up to two screens can be controlled. DisplayPort the card missing. On the back I find two 6-pin PEG power connectors. Of course, it is possible to the video card in an SLI-to-use configuration.

Re: Which is the best NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 TI or AMD Radeon HD 7850

The GeForce GTX 560 Ti-448 is an interesting card! For significantly less money to buy a card based on the same technology as the GTX 570 and only very limited slower. Average pay for a GeForce GTX 560 Ti-448 about 275 euros, the same as for a Radeon HD 6950. Of course you can find maps of both cheaper and more expensive models, but on average they lie on the same level. Based on the benchmarks i can not but conclude that nVidia clear about the overall performance down. The Radeon HD 6950 which is economical and has the advantage of the ability to control three screens (Eyefinity), but if you both do not care about the GeForce GTX 560 Ti-448 with the current price level is the best choice of the two . The MSI card shows as usual a good impression. Of course, the Twin Frozr III implementation more expensive than a normal GTX 560 Ti-448, but that is always the case. This , i can certainly recommend it.

Re: Which is the best NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 TI or AMD Radeon HD 7850

Well the The Radeon HD 7850 is cut to play in full HD, that's undeniable. On average, it appears between 65 and 110 frames per second with all of our games set with a high level of detail in Full HD (1920 by 1080 pixels). Effective, the HD 7870 is definitely! It's hard to be choosy when assessing the performance / watt consumed is twice that of the GeForce GTX 560 Ti Nvidia, for example. The Radeon will delight gamers who want to have fun on their full HD, without having to change power or compromise between fluidity and beauty of the graphics. However, to play on a screen of 30 inches, you either double the bet (and be a CrossFire expensive), or to prefer the HD 7950 which costs more and playing in the major.

Re: Which is the best NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 TI or AMD Radeon HD 7850

the HD 7850 is much more effective and powerful. Now facing the GTX 560 Ti, the Nvidia card to shoot for AMD, the Radeon wins with a performance increase of around 8% (on average). The HD 7850 is, in fact, slightly faster than the chip mid-range Nvidia on the rendered 3D scene where the tessellation is exploited. Moreover, I long to know the answer to Nvidia on the midrange segment, in order to compare the two new graphics architectures equal game. Side noise and cooling, I can not honestly . Blame it on AMD sent us cards, the cooling system differed from the reference design of the manufacturer. In our setup ventilation (that of the HD 7870), no excessive noise will not pollute our ears came. We will try to quickly hand over a 7850 HD "official" to get an idea of the noise, but also on the cooling efficiency. With the fan in our model, the chip does not exceed 66 ° C when the card is full, but it is not certain that the fan "normal" to do as well or better.

Well at Priced € 250, the Radeon HD 7850 is, in fact, marketed in a price range between 230 and 260 €. Which is acceptable, but it would be perfect with a drop of a few euros ... Do not hesitate to wait a bit if you can! Indeed, the response from Nvidia on this market segment is expected soon and AMD (as usual) should reduce its prices. The HD 7850 will, in fact, more affordable and therefore more interesting.

Re: Which is the best NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 TI or AMD Radeon HD 7850

GeForce GTX 560 Ti dimensions are contained and do not exceed 23 cm, a feature that makes this video card integrated into a large number of systems, even in the most compact barebones. The cover of the heat sink is shaped so as to convey the air outside of the case and can be completely removed to carry out the cleaning operations, without having to disassemble the cooling system from the PCB of the card. The sink is made of three aluminum elements, connected at the base of the GPU with three large heat pipes. The layout is reminiscent of some dissipating aftermarket good level note how the lamellae of the central body are split, a solution which increases the heat exchange surface but has a negative effect on the cost of each single piece, leading us to think that, for this card NVIDIA has spared no expense.
