I have recently bumped into a to a certain extent annoying problem when it comes to the Nvidia control panel and my innovative 1080p LED TV. Fundamentally in excess off HDMI, the control panel merely seems to hold up PC resolutions up to 1600x1200 which is to a certain extent annoying as HDTV 1080p resolution is awful a number of colors and fonts are blurred dreadfully. I have been speaking to Ndvidia hold up in excess off e-mail this past week and have encompassed and yet to come to a decent declaration. I have encompassed temporary improved things by increasing fonts to 150% via Windows settings other than a number of colors are tranquil blurred and the picture is far from what it should be. In the Nvidia control panel does not shows support for 1920x1080 resolution need some help here.

In addition the scaling alternatives are only utilized to resize the desktop in non-native resolutions. I had just hit it off a button and resize my desktop to several resolutions I desire. I do not have several scaling options at the entire there. I had observe you are in 1920x1080, which is the resolution you be supposed to be in. The scaling options mean not anything if your screen is filled in commencing from corner to corner. It clearly states the position of the options. If you position it to incredible other then 1920x1080, those options might ungrey. They merely sustain or maintain GPU scaling in excess off DVI cause DVI is what the majority of PC LCD's use.

The HDMI is mostly located on HD TV's, which have comprised their own scaling built in. The Nvidia do not touch it for the reason that HD TV's are premeditated to be run in their native resolution, and utilize their own scaling technologies. The entire in excess off again, it falls onto the TV to produce the clear image. Your video card is out positioning the right resolution; your TV is handling the rest.

Re: Nvidia control panel does not shows support for 1920x1080 resolution over HDMI

I had just recently tested this tv through and without GPU scaling and there was no enhancement what so ever similar to the previously said there was, so my bad on that one. I in addition be familiar with that it is my TV interpreting the signal, the entire I desire to be familiar with is why does the PC resolution list stop at 1600x1200 when the TV supports 1920x1080. Is there an to bring up to date needed by Nvidia for the reason that the TV is fairly innovative or is the tv to blame and therefore be supposed to I be taking this to Sharp as an alternative.

In addition why is there HDTV signals in the initial place. Why not just recently have comprised 1 set of resolutions and be completed through it, I am extremely confused to why there are 2 sets of resolutions. The entire I be familiar with is PC resolutions come into view to be a lot better in quality. I imagine I am going to rule out if it is the graphics card / drivers on an occasion and for the entire by sticking an ATI card in my machine.

It is for the reason that you are utilizing a HDTV, not a PC monitor. The PC Resolutions are there if you are utilizing a PC Monitor, not to point toward you have to utilize this resolution if a PC is attached. If you scroll up, it catalogs the HD resolutions, which is what you utilize if you’re utilizing a HDTV. The reason they demonstrate up in the NCC is in a number of cases the users may desire to utilize a different resolution.

It explains this in the clarification at the top. Why might you desire to utilize a PC Resolution on a HDTV is further than me, when the HD resolutions are scheduled as well. In your screen shots, the HDTV resolutions are there, it’s extremely easy to tell. You have encompassed to just presently utilize 1920x1080 beneath the HD, SD alternative it is pretty simple.

You like it or not, TV's are not premeditated by means of a PC in mind, for the reason that most of the users do not purchase a big screen tv's to be utilized as a PC monitor. Additional than in this day in age, TVs be able to be utilized merely for the reason that they are actually getting up to resolutions that PC monitors have encompassed and been putting out for ages.

You not be able to blame nvidia for lack of comprehension on your end. They merely create the card, not what you attach to it. And they essentially do have their cards sustaining the HDTV resolutions, additional than it seems that to facilitate you desire to force PC resolutions on a HDTV and have comprised to the clarity, when in fact you be supposed to just utilize a HDTV resolution since that is what your HDTV is premeditated for.

For my HDTV this is how I had position it up for my system. I utilize Auto, additional than you might have to utilize the desktop program alternative to reduce the blurryness. Additional than it might just basically be your TV is not great for displaying things commencing from a PC. When purchasing my TV it was one of the first things I desired, so I had purchased a Sony Bravia, and my 2 brothers in addition utilize sony tvs for the reason that of the clarity of image commencing from a PC.

Re: Nvidia control panel does not shows support for 1920x1080 resolution over HDMI

What accurately the model is your Sony Bravia TV and if you might be so kind, could you demonstrate me a screenshot of what you are giving the impression of being similar to on your set at 1080p. If it's superior quality than mine, I am going to return my tv and acquire a Sony. As for everybody is saying I be supposed to not expect superior quality PC resolutions / images commencing from a TV, cmon this is 2011, you would imagine they might of perfected 1080p by at present. It is not similar to I am asking for a ridiculously high 2500 x 1600 resolution or no matter what, I expect merely what the tv is advertised to be capable to do and this model advertised full HD 1920x1080 resolution support.
