First answer I would like to give is that you should make sure for the operating system you are making use of. In addition to this, you are able to try download along with make an installation of the monitor Driver that provided to see wherever the issue is fixed or not.

As I am also having similar issues in my case , can you solve it for me. I am making use of windows 7 x64 and I have that driver installed at present. When I go to modify the screen resolution, it denotes that 1920x1080 is "(recommended)" other than when I make an selection of it as well as hit apply, the sides as well as top/bottom of my desktop don’t tend to be visible, which includes my task bar and some more.

Thanks for your replies and I need to say that when I attempt to do this, I am only able to attain 1680x1050. I get the screen to 1920x1080 by means of the advanced mode in my resolution range. I have attempted with your replies but I need to say that the colors are all messed up and although the resolution tends to appear fine the picture is still appears to be bad. Can you help me further.

So in your case , I need to make some suggestions which will be useful and so , you can make some handful attempts with your monitor driver in the downloads and if you fail to do that in this way then you can make use of DVI or else making use of HDMI for the audio as well. Also you can try with just clicking the monitors auto adjust function and I need to say that if it appears to be grayed out along with the manual adjust controls then you will surely have some issues relating with monitors auto adjust function.

Hey , I was also having this problem and as said by you previously that if it appears to be grayed out along with the manual adjust controls then you will be having issues with monitors. I have tried that one but there were no effects. But after searching a lot, I have found that you require to change the overscanning on your monitor. if you are not with such in your monitor's menu, then you will be definitely having something, and you need to set the hdmi input to be moreover "PC mode" or else "AV mode" otherwise somewhat alike. So I was solved with my issue and hope this will definitely help you.

So guys after your precious replies , I made an updating of my driver and currently I am with the same thing as i am not able to fit 1080p onto my monitor any longer. i made an attempt with the previous solution but that was not able to work. when i set the monitor to "PC mode" or else "AV mode" it turns to be black then comes back the similar. when i go back into the alternative, its as if nothing was ever altered. i would say it was a monitor problem, but this happened right away after making an update of the driver. So can you solve this one for me.

I would finally tell you that you need to make use of DVI connector rather than the HDMI, which will definitely tend to work. You can also make an attempt with going to the NVIDIA Control Panel, and then make an selection of the "Adjust Desktop Size and Position" as well as attempt changing the three scaling alternatives: Aspect Ratio, Full-Screen, No Scaling.

Thanks for the replies and after making an selection of the alternatives , all was solved and currently I am able to make use of 1920x1080 to fit on my monitor. As I was making use of HDMI connection , I made an replacement as my friend had the DVI connector and then made a proper connection. It did had some effects and after trying with another one all was solved.
