OSD Lockout Randomly Appear on the Screen

I have a HP w2207 monitor and randomly from time to time I will get an OSD lock block in the middle of the screen. It is very disturbing and I took it in to a computer shop and they changed a few parts and now within a 1.5 year later it is starting to come back.
I hold the button for 10 seconds and it goes away but it comes back in the middle of a video or childs game. Has anyone experience this before?

They might have changed the hardware behind the button as there are possibilities of getting it stuck or messed and that is the reason you might be getting OSD Lock-out message. i doubt that you might be having the same case again.
