Not able set optimal resolution: 2560x1600 @ 60Hz in HP LP3065 30-inch LCD Monitor

I am having a HP LP3065 30-inch LCD Monitor and it is connected to HP 8560w i72630QM workstation having nvidia quadro 1000M and the problem that I am facing is that I am not able to set it to optimal resolution: 2560x1600 @ 60Hz, I have been relying on 1280x800 for now, is there anyone who can help me with a workaround to set it to optimal resolution: 2560x1600 @ 60Hz??

I am not very sure but then have you tried out installing the latest driver for the nvidia quadro 1000M, if not then try it out and then let me know if it is making any difference or not.

I am facing the same issue with LP3065 (30 inch) monitor and in my case I am having quadro 2000M and I have already installed the latest drover for the video card and even after that I am not able to set the optimal resolution: 2560x1600 @ 60Hz, it is just staying @ 1280 * 800, I have found out a no of people facing the same issue but then have not yet came across a solution for getting it to 2560x1600, I am not very sure but then it appears as if there is some issue with the adapter.

Even I have found a no of people facing the same issue but then it appears as if the issue is with the Quadro 2000M or the DVI cables, actually I am saying so because I am having powerfull Gforce video card in my system and I have it connected to the LP3065 using 2 dual DVI ports from the advanced docking station and I am able to use the 2560*1600 resolution without any such issues.I will suggest you to check out it with a Gforce video card and see if it is making any difference or not.

As far as I am aware the EliteBook 8560w is capable of supporting single link on the 2 external DVI-D port which are accessed via the HP Advanced Docking Station and that is the reason the max resolution we can get is 1920x1200 and not 2560*1600, there is a need for dual link DVI-D in order to support the 2560x1600 resolution. Hope the issue is clear to you all now.
