Asus GTX 590 is giving Error Code 43 while installing driver

I have recently made a new rig with the following:

• Asus Maximus Extreme-z
• Asus gtx 590
• 16G kingston hyperx ram
• i7 2600K
• 1000w psu
• aigility 3 120G ssd

And the problem that I am facing is that when I am trying to install drivers for the Asus gtx 590 Then I am getting an Error Code 43, I have checked out the Nvidia control panel and it is saying that I am not having compatible GPU's, is there anyone who has faced the same and has an idea about it??

I was facing the same with the compatible GPU's and I was trying out different drivers as well and I was getting the same error but then alter I installed 267.91 driver which I had got with the graphics card itself and the issue was solved, as you are having the same situation I will suggest you to try installing the 267.91 driver and see if it is helping you out as well or not .Best of luck.

After your suggestion I have tried installing the 267.91 driver and I did not got an error and so and everything was working fine but then the other problem that I have started facing is that after say about 15 minutes the screens goes black but then the computer keep running, I don’t know what is the issue now, had you faced the same after installing 267.91 driver, any further help fort the same will be appreciated.

I will suggest you to better disconnect if you are having other monitors attached to it and after that uninstall the driver and then reinstall the same and see if it is making any difference, if it does not help then install the latest BIOS for the motherboard and check It out if it is helping, just see which possible solution is appearing to be helping.

I will suggest you to try out the below solution and see if it is helping:

• First try to re-seat the card and try out in installing it in different PCI-E slot as well
• After that use Driver Sweeper to uninstall the driver that you might be having
• When you are done with the installing part then just go in to the safe mode and after that select all Nvidia staff and clear them as well
• Now you can try out installing the 270.61 WHQL or 275.33 WHQL or 285.62 driver, I have tried out the same and I think that one of these should probably end the issue, just check it out and then let me know if it helps.
