Evga geforce 7900gs vs Intel Integrated Graphics

I was having a old Compaq computer but then I have recently bought a hp p7-1120 and it is quite decent but then it is having intel integrated graphics, in the old pc I was having evga geforce 7900gs gpu but then it has died and I was willing to use the same in the new system, so I wanted to know if I would have got better performance with the evga geforce 7900gs gpu or I should better stick with the Intel Integrated Graphics, is there anyone who can clear my doubt.

I think that the evga geforce 7900gs gpu would have worked better as compared to the Intel Integrated Graphics that you might be having onboard, but then if you will have to buy a new evga geforce 7900gs gpu then it will be better to stay with the Intel Integrated Graphics unless you don’t have any problem in investing in the new one. Hope that helps.

No you will get better performance with the Intel Integrated onboard graphic card as compared to the evga geforce 7900gs gpu and it will be quite compatible as well.

Even I think that it would be better if you stay with the Integrated one as the other card will be adding more power requirements, noise, heat as well as more 3rd party drivers, as far as the gaming is concerned I think that the Integrated card will be enough, even I have been using the same in my system and never faced with the games like Sims, Quake Live, Plants vs Zombies and many others. I think that the 7900GS is too slow anyway and is outdated as well.
