Evga GTX 590 shows Low memory while playing BattleField 3

While playing the battlefield 3 on Evga GTX 590, I have noticed that after playing game for about 30-45 min windows 7 pops up message showing that system memory is running and need to reduce color scheme. So for this I would like to know is it due to using 1.5 gb core while using 2560 x 1600 resolution. Does anyone have the idea for this.

As you are saying that while playing BF3 on the Evga GTX 590 graphics card system is showing you memory low. So of this I want you to use EVGA tools and go through the system resources of your graphics card.

After checking the card on my system using the EVGA tools I have seen that system memory uses around 1500 mb and if core of it is increased by 50 then the game crashes. I have also noticed that the temperature goes around 85-90 deg C.

While checking free RAM on the system it shows me only 30 mb, so will the system RAM be improved if doubled as I’m using Corsair XMS2 6GB RAM. I have seen that many of my friends using three screens while playing the battlefield 3 on ultra with 2560x1600 res.. is there something wrong with my EVGA GPU..

I’m using the same GPU as you are using and is working fine, the heat temp. When checked dhows me around 45 – 50 deg C which according to me is normal. So if you are using the EVGA GTX 590 GPU then I guess it should work fine.

While going through your issue as you have mentioned that you are getting 90 deg C while playing the BF 3 then for this what I feel is that you do not have proper air flow and due to that system is showing you 90 deg C.

So what I feel that try to keep proper ventilation, so there is proper air flow which will keep your system from overheating.

According to me if your system is on low memory then I would like to know are you running any application or program while playing the game then there are possibility that it may consume more memory and if your system is running any antivirus then due to this it uses more memory.
