Samsung SyncMaster S23A750D display port not working with MSI N580GTX Lightning Xtreme Edition

Hi guys
I recently bought the Samsung SyncMaster S23A750D monitor and I have a problem as my computer starts and do the BIOS and load the windows but after the windows is load which by the way is 7 , it goes black which I think is because of the graphics card is not sending any signal out more. Then tried and take the HDMI connector and its works just fine although I required DisplayPort cable has few 120Hz frame rate . can anyone here can help me out of this I would be really glad to know this

Try it in safe mode, and see what happens , tried to reinstall VGA drivers? See if that help you just remove the present driver fist with the help of the Driver Sweeper , hope this would help you

Did you find a solution for this? i have the same issue, it works with hmdi and in safemode, it's like the displayport deactivates when it enters windows I would be appreciating any reply thanks in advance

Mine I have a work out well, it works at the present for me,if you are make use of beta drivers then that’s the issue , they don’t hold up by means of the display port, so install the official 285.something and it will work very well

Hey can anybody verify my Nvidia MSI N580GTX Lightning Xtreme Edition will be able to run the S23A750D at 120hz using the display port cable that comes with the monitor? I would be gald if anyone her can reply me that as I tried everything but unable to found any answer to this , so I was hoping there if anyone here can help me out of this .

That depend on the Graphic card now MSI N580GTX Lightning Xtreme Edition card if that card has the display port you will definitely able to run it hope this would help you
