MSI APS program shows the error “unknown graphic card”

Hi, I have MSI 580 lightning graphic card. I have also install aps program successfully. But since 2 days it is showing the error “unknown graphic card”. I haven’t done any modification still it is showing the problem. i even tried uninstalling and installing the driver but the problem remains! Is it because I am using the beta afterburner?

Install the APS program from msi website only. Beta afterburner may cause the problem.as it is not final software.it may have some bugs. Try installing the afterburner software from the msi website only.

I tried the uninstalling APS and after burner and installed it from the website but it didn’t help. One thing I noted that when I uninstalled the earlier (beta) afterburner it showed the error but when I uninstalled the proper copy of afterburner it was gone.I restarted my pc after uninstalling the software and installing it back.

I had the same problem with my graphic card. I also have the same 580graphic card. I have tried this above mentioned trick but it solved the problem for the some-time then again showed it. I think there is a problem with nvidia drivers. I have tried the installing and uninstalling of APS lot of times but it doesn’t change anything

Many of you won’t believe this but when I logged in with Admin mode I had no problem what so ever but when I used the other user account it didn’t work for me. What is this function that administrator has and not allowing the game to work with other accounts? Then i tried disabling administrator account but it never worked!To confirm the problem i had gone to my friend's place to check this trick but i couldn't even start the game with administrator account. What exactly is the problem with this game?

I am using the same graphic card 580 lightning. Just do the following and see if the problem is solved or not:

1. Make sure you have installed the proper copy of windows 7.
2. Install the VGA driver then install afterburner and APS from MSI website.
3. Turn off the system.
4. Now change the lightning switch from “original” to “LN”
5. Once your system is on it will ask you to restart the pc.
6. Restart the pc and your problem is solved.
