Fan stuck at 60% on MSI GTX 580 Lightning Graphic card

I have card but from last few days I have seen that one of the fans on my gtx 580 lightening is continuously rotating at 60% and when I try to rotate the fan at 30% in afterburner it still rotating at 60% ,and it will properly go higher than 60% the only problem is when I try to lower it will stop at 60%. If anyone knows the cause of this problem then provide some solution for it.

I have bought GTX 580 lightening graphic XE graphics card 6 months ago and I have no problems with the graphic card it is functioning as I expected, but I am having the issue with its fan , the fan is automatically functioning of its own. Please help me.

If you are under warranty period with MSI than I think you should contact with MSI for repairing of your card ,if you are not sending your card for repair than in future it is possible your entire card may be fail due to this problem ,and at that time you are unable to claim your warranty.

If you are having issue related with your fan than you should try RMA the card , and I think it is not possible for you to RMA the card , so you can do RMA of the card with the help of your reseller and if the reseller is refuses to do this then you can contact to MSI .
