Good replacement for GeForce 9500 GT

I have been using this GeForce 9500 GT for long time now. I am addicted to the gaming and I have some very good games to play. I was wondering if I can get any better replacement for my old card. I would like to buy the card which is in the same range or little above. Can you address me any cards that will be suitable to me?

I saw a hierarchy of graphic cards on a internet. It has all the cards divided according to the performance. It says that if you want to have the replacement then always select the card that is 3-4 layer up from your current. As in case of you, 9500 GT comes along with cards 7800 GT, 7900 GS, and 8600 GTS in Geforce and X1800 XL, X1950 GT, HD 4650 (DDR2), HD 6450 from ATI, so if you are trying to buy from these then please don’t buy it .you are wasting your money. I will recommend you go for 7950 GX2, GT 440 DDR3 in geforce and X1950 XTX, HD 4650 (DDR3), 5550 (DDR3) from ATI.
While buying these things you should make some research and have flexibility with money because its prize is always fluctuating

Yes, I agree with the above user, your card comes in average performance. Even the cards that have been recommended to you are DDR3 which are not so good at performance. You should try the DDR5 graphic cards. These cards are nothing in front of them. Once you use them you will see the difference in the performance. Talking about money, DDR5 cards are not so costly it will cost you around 120-140 $. Or you can wait for some time and see if the prize goes down !

Thanks both of you for your sincere replies. I think I will wait for a while, I have decided to buy a DDR5 card only but right now I am finding the most suitable for my computer configuration. i have selected some models but it will need some extra power supply . so might need to change my power supply. Do you guys no which power supply will be appropriate for me?

its good think that you are waiting and discussing the details with us. Yes DDR5 graphic cards need additional graphic cards only in extreme conditions. Your SMPS will be of low output. If you don’t have motherboard that is made for gaming you might need to upgrade that too. Because it has additional pins . I will say buy VIP power supply , it will be good with the heavy graphic cards like yours.
