GeForce GTX 580 SOC or XFire 6870s

I am thinking to upgrade the video card on my computer. Currently, I am having the single XFX HD 6870 and this is giving me very poor performance and that is the reason that I am thinking to upgrade this. But I am confused between the GeForce GTX 580 SOC and XFire 6870s that which one will be good for me. I am going to use that with the 24'' LED ASUS 1080P monitor. So I am just looking for some good suggestion from you people. Can you tell me that what can be the best one for me. Thank you for reading and replying to this in advance.

If you are using one powerful gpu then that will provide you the best solution for the mid-range dual gpu setups. But if you are using the 6870 in cfx then that could overperform the gtx 580 in a few cases but there will be ease of use and less problems if we compare that with the multi-gpu setup. So now the decision is on you that what you would like to do.
