Which should I purchase AMD 6970 Crossfire or Nvidia GeForce GTX 590?

I am looking to get 20x30x20 setup for PLP Monitor. Well I wanted to know which will be the best suitable option AMD 6970 Crossfire or Nvidia GeForce GTX 590. Let me know if you are having any speculation on the above mentioned thing. I am waiting for the prompt replies of yours on the same.

I will never go for Nvidia GeForce GTX 590 by any mean. Since it is really bad graphic card.
However I recommend that you should go for GTX 580 3GB SLi or 6970 CF on the basis of budget which you are having in the game.

Well I know that I cannot use the GTX 580 SLI since I am using 20x30x20 setup. Well I am looking to use 20x30x20 setup so there is need of 3rd card for the additional monitor. As far as I know the best config I am using is 2x GTX580 at the bottom of the motherboard of mine.
I am looking to following game on my system, WOW, Bad Company 2, Duke Nukem and Battlefield 3.

I am not aware about the Battlefield 3 but 2x 6950 would be more than enough for the games which you have listed on the above mentioned issue. BC2 seems to be the most GPU intensive in the game at the resolution of 6048x1080. Apart from Crysis ~30fps will give the average of 60fps. If you are not looking to play the game into the multi-monitor then you should go for HD6970 CF only. It is having great performance for the single screen set up in the game.

Mostly friends of mine are saying that one should go for 2x6970. You have to overclocked the same and after that you will get the performance than that of the 590. After doing that you will get performance which is near to 580 SLi.

Well in response to Tigerius, IDK where this person recieves their information but it's wrong. The GTX 590 is an amazing card by many means stronger and faster than it's competitor but thats not what your asking. Both set ups would pretty much allow you to run all games on the market right now with max settings smoothly. But if your on a budget i'd say you should go with the 2x 6970's SLI. If you have the cash to burn I'd suggest the GTX 590 easy. It will go a lot further and if down the road you ever decide to buy another then you would have more than enough GPU power to dominate everygame for a while to come without needing to overclock at all. But make sure your system can handle a GTX 590 if you plan to go that route.
