Custom resolution is not accepted by Nvidia GTX 260 Driver

Hello friends, i am trying to do the custom resolution for the system, but the drivers of the Nvidia GTX 260, is not accepting it and when i was having old series of the graphics card then i was doing the custom resolution and also it was been accepted. So can anyone help me the problem which i am getting it. So give me some suggestion to solve it. Thank you.

I think that the Nvidia GTX 260 is automatically keeping the resolution for you and it might not having the feature to accept the resolution which you wanted to have it. So you have to use the card as it is and also it is best to use the recommended setting for the system.

I think you might have to update the drivers of the card and you will be able to do the custom resolution. So you better update the drivers of the graphics card.
