How to disable the shared internal video memory

My system is currently running with ATI RADEON HD 3400 Series (Model 3450) and wants to indentify how I am able to disable shared video memory, for the reason it previously comes through 512mb card, which before now satisfies me completely.

Sharing performance is lost by not sharing memory; in fact this is confusing the user function. That is not to share memory if not the AGP aperture should be not if 1 / 4 of the graphics memory, I'm not sure how but it is to share memory or less.

A graphics card to run has a need for CPU and memory. Cards using the shared memory are made of low-end graphics cards that, in order to reduce the cost of manufacturing and sales has no memory. But as said above, without the card memory to run, so it is in physical memory of your pc. Its not turn off.

Shared memory is switched from the Bios. This pushes you when you start the PC, the "N" or press F2 (of different board to board). Then the must in the category "Advanced" written somewhere. Do you use as an onboard graphics card or do you have installed an extra? If you're using an onboard graphics card, memory and graphics that need to be deducted from the RAM (hence 2.25 GB). If you are not using onboard graphics card, you can disable the onboard and so then you have the full memory.

Short answer is no.... If that was a desktop with integrated graphics, you can disable it only if you have a dedicated PCI-E slot. So the laptop does not turn off the graphics. Only way to improve performance to your laptop RAM in order to bring the shared memory will not bog your other system performance.

Re: How to disable the shared internal video memory

The allocation of video memory is shared when the card is dynamic and can not disable it because the system calls in automatic mode. Previously this process could be done from the BIOS, but new equipment is no longer available option.

Recommendation, increase the RAM of your computer so that you stay more free space.
