Looking in favor of a superior GPU upgrade.

I am here to get some eloquent information before upgrading my GPU for superior versions available in the markets now. My desktop configuration is described below:

My processor is Intel i7 920 @2.67 GHz.
And RAM of 6GB ddr3
PSU: 800W
My motherboard is Gigabyte EX58-UD3R.
And the GPU is Geforce GTS 250.

Please help me to get the best deal of GPU by any imminent information of the GPU’s present today. Thanks for your help.

Only your GPU looks like thing that actually wants to be improved else everything is ok to be ready for playing great games available out there. Your RAM is 8 GB so is great for supporting the newer GPU’s. And even your PSU:800 W is great.

You make out what I was in fact looking addicted to that exact card, see my existing GPU is EVGA and everybody knows EVGA GPU’s are great. Apart from that I was wondering if I would be receiving max setting with this card for playoffs that are coming out. I was thinking if I be supposed to actually be going with the 560ti sequence of cards. I wanted it mainly for playing high end games like the new released LA Noire, Max Payne 3 etc.

See GTX 550i would be very good for your requirements and if playing on a resolution of 25x16.Some other great GPU upgrades for you may be 580 Ti, 560 Ti. Look for the resolution before installing the GPU.

Know the type of video card your system can use.
