BC2 GTX 460 giving bad performance

My current specification is a core 2 duo e6600, OC to 3.0
    GTX 460 768
    4GB of DDR2 800 Ram
I have essentially attempted each settings in BC2 from heading off quite heightened to going quite level as well as switching my straight x in the middle of 9, 10 and 11. No matter what I do, I cannot get my display above 30-40 fps. The situation is that the 30-40 FPS is the same time as great outline. What I mean by that is that on maps like ample metal I get around 25-40 FPS. However on maps like desert spring, I’m battling to stay above 20, I ordinarily get 15 there, absolutely unplayable. I am not confident what is going on, I had the 266 drivers from the start, now I possess the overhauled 270 and it represents no improvement. Directx 9/10/11 represents totally no improvement to my amusement, every last one of the several run the same 20-30 if I’m lucky, and 30-40 on great metal. I am not certain what to do anymore. I ran crysis 2 on high settings with no situations, and I can’t even run this event on level settings. Anyone know if minimizing drivers will work? Then again which ones work the greatest assuming that its even conceivable?

Re: BC2 GTX 460 giving bad performance

I without a doubt question that my core 2 duo is bottlenecking my GTX460 regarding I’ve been playing metro 2033 on close max settings and I get like 40-50 FPS predictable, and BC 2 has no place close to the representation of metro 2033 not even close. The just explanation I am able to see my center 2 team botching things, is if BC 2 is particularly pandered to quad cores, which I remain dubious about is the case recognizing when it was discharged. Moreover on a side note, I truly unequivocally went into the amusement and put each alternative conceivable to its most reduced feasible settings and my FPS did not update one spot, if anything it as a matter of fact went down a smidge. I can’t move toward getting passed 30 no matter what I do, the just guide I get 30+ immovable on is ample metal, which is the greatest guide in the whole game with immense survey separates, which makes undeniably no sense to me, if anything it could be getting less exhibition.

It's the CPU. A phenom II x2 or C2D E8XXX can handle BFBC2 but generally the event quite preferences 3+ centers. In addition, Crysis 2 "elevated" settings are in reality its least setting.

Your situation is your CPU. To meet the suggested prerequisites, you ought to at any rate get a quad core CPU. Your CPU is bottlenecking your GPU. And then with respect to Crysis 2, the names of the illustrations settings are High, Very High and Extreme. You lack the capacity to run it on easy for the reason that there is no easy setting in Crysis 2. The level setting is towering.

Your card isn't precisely best stamp for attempting to run BBC2. Not quick enough and not enough v-smash. That amusement won't run amazing without a quad core. I would give anything to know your correct settings in that game for the reason that my fitting clears yours out and my "reverted" gtx560 wouldn't be able to play it for a knoll of beans. Crysis2 is a DX9 event. That could clarify some of the playability there. Open the nvidia control board and check ALL the settings and make conformities. With that card I'd moreover set max pre rendered casings to greatest.

I thoroughly concur with the suggestion of moving to a quad heart cpu, I updated my heart 2 6600 to an I5-760 with a 9800gt and the FPS and event smoothness expanded altogether. I try not to recall numbers but from easy 30s to mid 50s in mid part and 1400x900. (Final week I have redesigned to a 6950 and it heads off around 80fps (70 to 120) at top value.

In gaming it appears that Sandy extension is the approach to go and a second 460 SLI while they keep up on the will make you happier and you'll be available for Battlefield 3 that perhaps can be multicore streamlined.
