LEDs cause problem to eyes???

Which one is better ?

An LCD or an LED ??????

I have heard some rumors like- LEDs can cause harm to eyes...

In all other matters like Clarity, Current bill savings,etc, I think LED itself is better..(I think....)

You should know that LED and LCD are both LCD displays only. LED only refers to the backlight technology behind the LCD screen, differentiating it from the older flourescent lamp tube technology. There are two types of LED backlights, "edge-lit" vs. array behind the screen with "local dimming" capability. LED's meet up with the future requirements and therefore if you got the budget then go with it.

I was always planning to buy LED..itself...but had slight confusion whether lcd or led..not any more...
