As the second XFX 6970'sseems to be working very low like as if its not working only. Is this problem faced by anyone using 2 XFX 6970's please help if anyone having any information on it.

Hi even I am having a similar issue. I had recently got two XFX 6970 cards and whi8ch I had later installed them. I have 11.1a beta drivers installed on my Windows 7 64 bit. The set up in GPUZ is one idle at 450/1250MHz and the other at 250/150MHz. I noticed that whenever I play any game only one card is seen going clock up to 3D speed taking the entire load, where as the second card seems to be not doing anything.

Have you inserted the second XFX 6970 card properly? Make sure that it is inserted properly! Are you able to read the second XFX 6970 card? I would like to suggest you to kindly check if the second XFX 6970 card is inserted properly or not and also check if its been read or not! if its not been read then try inter changing the cards i.e. insert the second card at the place of first card and first card at the place of second card. And check if it works or not.

Thank you for your kind reply. As per you said that I had checked the connection and also reinserted the XFX 6970 card once again, but even after reinserting the card it doesn’t seems to be working! I even tried it with MSI Kombuster but when I tried PICJ the second gpu it only seems to picking the first XFX 6970 card and the temps also seems to be going up on that. I have even enable Xfire in CCC but even that didn’t help! Can anyone help me out of this?
