IS GTX 460 superior for Intel E8400 3 GHz duo

So I was looking to upgrade my current video card (EVGA Geforce 9800GT) to a new card. After looking around on Newegg, I think I'm going with GTX 460. Everything I've looked to improve the rational connection (pin heads and power connection) is fine, but the only thing I'm not sure about is that my CPU can work well with him? I am currently using an Intel E8400 3 GHz duo CPU. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am waiting for your replies.

I'll just buy ATI / AMD video cards from now because their regular video cards have HDMI, universal compatible with everything else. And the regular HDMI port is built into the video card, so you do not have to be anxious regarding losing the adapter and cannot make use of the computer not including it. Not as Nvidia, as no thought put into making video cards, but to sacrifice something important you need for something stupid you do not need at all.

With the GTX 460 which was to be expected that you will be able to run at least very close to the maximum, but under sounds pretty good. However, as Stoned Magician said, a new CPU may be necessary if you want to put up comfortably at high settings, something like this almost guarantees a smooth ride. Of course, if you want cheaper to take a look at what AMD is putting out and conversely if the money is not a problem and then go for an i7, because the Turbo works really well in them. But try it first with the GTX 460 if you have not installed for the reason that its dual core is not precisely in the extremely slow so it might be sufficient.

I agree, get the 460, which is a great card and improve performance without end, try to Weapon II, IMO only approaches the maximum fine, but if you do not invest in a quad-core (unless running a little less maximum configuration does not actually trouble you.) If you opt for the quad-core and are on a budget look into some of the senior i5, and if not on a budget you should get a turbo i7 to 3GHz +, you will do fine for a couple of years come (basically until the next generation console, and possibly a bit beyond).

If you're really on a budget, see what AMD has to offer. The Quad Core may not be essential, however for the reason that of their dual core is quite fast, so observe how it will only improve with the first 460. There is more that I meant no card processors, a 5850 will positively perform the job, but personally I choose the 460 because I'm a dirty boy Nvidia fan, but both are great cards and affordable. The video card is a total beast. I cannot say anything bad about the GPU.
