    need help for connecting pc to tv

    HI Everybody

    I AM MANOJ

    I have a sony Bravia TV brand new,
    and a hp pc with specs:
    intel xeon
    6gb ram
    nvidia quadro 2000 graphic card

    the graphic card has
    1 DVI-I output
    2 DP output

    i am planning to connect my PC DVI-I o/p to TV VGA i/p

    i aleardy bought a DVI-D to VGA adapter and connected to my TV through VGA CAble

    Its not working.

    MY QUESTION IS SHOULD I USE DVI-I TO VGA CONVERTER OR IS THERE ANY OTHER WAYS TO CONNECT TO TV PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

    DVI (Digital Visual Interface) gives you a higher quality picture. But for this you should make sure that your TV is an HDTV. You can purchase the cord for the same. It will cost a little more then the usual VGA cable. You also have DP output, so you can also use the usual RCA/composite cable to connect your laptop with your TV. If you have a support for S-cable, you can also use it. But you should remember that you will get the best quality pictures in the following increasing order.
    S-video < VGA < DVI < HDMI
